Which TimberTech line should I choose?

TimberTech is our preferred starting point for a quality, low-maintenance deck in Western Washington, particularly if appearance and moisture resistance are high priorities.

Value-oriented composite

Look at the more affordable TimberTech Composite collections when budget matters most but you still want a capped, low-maintenance board. Compare current availability and warranty details before selecting a specific collection.

Premium composite

Consider higher-end TimberTech Composite collections if realistic grain, deeper color variation, and a more upscale finish are the priorities.

Premium PVC

Consider TimberTech Advanced PVC when moisture resistance and a premium finish justify the additional material cost. PVC decking is not the same material as wood-plastic composite, so compare both options rather than assuming one is always better.

One important distinction: premium decking cannot compensate for poor framing or drainage. In our climate, prioritize properly treated framing, appropriate flashing, ventilation, and compatible fasteners regardless of which brand you choose.
