Mason is the Owner-Operator of High Rock Exteriors

Over the years of operating this business, through building relationships customers and the constant learning that comes with running a company and its variety of projects, I have learned from myself and our customer that our specialty is in building and maintaining beautiful decks. We love to help our customers be able to enjoy their time spent outdoors. Our goal is to help you spend more time outside enjoying nature, friends and family.

I believe that if you work hard and treat your customers and employees well and always do the right thing you will have a successful business. We have also built a small team that agrees with and lives out these principles. I enjoy building relationships with customers centered around trust.

When I am not working, you will typically find me spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, or doing something active with friends.

Why I started the Company

I originally started the company to fill a hole in the market for smaller projects. Since starting the business in 2022, I have learned that there is many challenges with doing a large variety of projects and discovered that I would either need to become more of a general contractor or specialize in one area in order to best service the customer. I discovered that I preferred the opportunity of doing one thing and working to get really good at it. Over the past year,  I have transitioned from a handyman carpenter to a deck builder. I found deck builds to be very rewarding. I am enjoying learning everything I can about building decks and hope to continue building decks for many years in Washington State.
