We replaced rotted front entry posts with properly standoff-mounted, reinforced posts to eliminate moisture issues and ensure long-term durability.
This Woodinville project involved replacing rotted front entry posts for an existing customer after the original posts had been installed directly on concrete, causing severe moisture damage. One post had fully detached at the base and was swinging freely, while the remaining three showed early signs of rot. We installed new posts using 1" standoff brackets and ¾" galvanized threaded rods set into the concrete with proper anchoring adhesive to prevent future rot, leaving the posts primed and ready for the home’s upcoming paint job.
