Deck Repair
The project involved structural and safety improvements to an existing deck. The original support beam had begun to rot, causing the deck to sag and become unsafe for regular use. Additionally, the existing railing was under-built and did not meet safety standards.
To address these issues, we reconfigured the deck by cutting the end at a 45-degree angle, adding a new support beam, and re-framing the affected area to ensure a solid and stable structure. We also replaced the old railing with a custom-built cedar railing designed for enhanced strength and durability.
Finally, we reinforced the deck edges and installed a new double border for added stability and a clean, finished appearance.
